Conclusion of contract
The presentation of products in the online shop is non-binding. By placing your order, you are making a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded upon receipt of our order confirmation by email. -
Prices and payment
All prices are quoted in euros (€) and include statutory value added tax. Shipping costs are displayed transparently during the ordering process.
Payment is secure and flexible via Shopify Payments, including:
Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

- Shop Pay
- Klarna (depending on location)
- PayPal (if offered separately)
Payment is processed immediately after confirmation of the order.
Shipping and delivery
We deliver to the following regions:

Delivery times:
Germany: 3–5 business days
EU: 5–7 business days
USA: 5–10 business days
Delivery times may be delayed due to product availability, holidays, or customs clearance.
Shipping costs and any free shipping thresholds are clearly displayed at checkout. For the USA, additional import duties, taxes, or customs fees may apply, which are to be borne by the recipient.
If an item is unavailable after ordering, we will inform you immediately; any payments made will be refunded.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, simply send an email to: service@bergamond-birch.com.

Retention of title
The goods remain the property of Bergamond & Birch until full payment has been received. -
Warranty & Liability
The statutory warranty rights apply.
We are fully liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.
In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). -
Data protection
Your data will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy and the applicable data protection laws. -
Applicable law
German law applies; the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. For consumers residing outside the EU, mandatory legal provisions of the state remain unaffected.
Final provisions
Should any provision of the General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remainder shall remain valid.
